The 5 Strangest Human Skulls Ever Discovered
Archaeology has uncovered a great deal about our past but we’ve barely scratched the surface. The Earth holds many secrets but sometimes amazing discoveries are made and these skulls are proof.
The Horned Human Skulls
Besides the horns growing out of the foreheads, the skeletons had another intriguing feature: they were seven feet tall!
Could these skeletons be the remains of an ancient race of giants that inhabited North America thousands of years ago? Some have drawn parallels between this discovery and the mysterious Mound Builder civilization from prehistoric times. A number of megalithic structures have been attributed to this elusive civilization and some researchers claim evidence points toward the Shining Ones or Nephilim.
The remains were sent to the Philadelphia Museum and have since disappeared, eliminating the possibility of a thorough analysis.
The Paracas Skulls
While many cultures practiced head binding in order to achieve an elongated head, these particular skulls seem to have a different story. While head binding modifies the shape of the head, it cannot increase the cranial volume in any significant way.
So how can we explain the fact that the Paracas skulls are 25% larger and 60% heavier than regular human skulls?
In an attempt to shed some light on this mystery, a series of DNA tests were arranged by the Director of the Paracas Museum of History. Samples of skin, hair, teeth and bone fragments were sent to a genetic laboratory for analysis and the results were amazing.
As it turns out, the skulls belonged to a very distant relative of Homo sapiens. The mitochondrial DNA presented mutations that were never found in any other human beings.
Starchild skull: Hybrid between Human and Grey Aliens
In 1999, paranormalist Lloyd Pye got a chance to examine the skull, claiming that it was evidence of interbreeding between humans and aliens. Pye called it the Starchild Skull, believing his mother had been a human female while his father had originated somewhere between the stars.
The skull belonged to a five year old boy who died almost a thousand years ago. Some researchers suggested that the skull is deformed due to a condition called hydrocephalus but Pye claims DNA analysis showed no evidence for this affliction. The same DNA testing also revealed so many genetic differences between Starchild and regular humans that he could be considered a totally different entity. His cranial cavity is 30 percent larger than that of a normal child.
Despite being much thinner, the skull bones are actually stronger, due to the presence of unusual microscopic fibers in its structure, a feature not seen in normal human skulls.
The Bulgarian Alien Skull
This fascinating relic was found in the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria by a man who claimed to have received instructions in a dream. According to his account, five humanoids in yellow suits showed him the spot where he was supposed to dig. Heeding their call, the man discovered this skull, buried alongside an elliptical metal object.
The skull is as small as that of a human baby but packs enough mystery. It’s much thinner and lighter than human bone, weighing only 8.8 ounces (250 grams) and it has six cavities, indicating an unusual number of eyes or perhaps different sensory organs.
The Director of the Paleontology Museum of Asenovgrad had a chance to examine it and said it resembles nothing he’s ever seen.
Theories about its origin range from remains of ancient failed genetic experiment to hastily buried alien but it seems we’ll only be left with speculation, as the skull has disappeared without a trace. The man who found it said he had been offered a large sum of money in exchange for the skull.
Whoever owns it wants to keep it secret.
The Crystal Skull
Legend has it that a long time ago, there were twelve planets inhabited by humans, each planet possessing its own skull. The thirteenth skull served as a link between the rest of them.
Those who came on contact with the skulls say that they witnessed strange and unexplained occurrences. The skulls apparently talk and can even project holographic images. They are also said to possess healing powers and the secret to longevity.

Boy With Autism Makes His First Friend Ever And His Mom Can’t Stop Crying
Her son wouldn't even hug his own mom, but he cozied right up to his new, furry friend.
Approximately 1 in 68 children has an autism spectrum disorder, making the disorder more common than it used to be and a force to be reckoned with. There are even service dogs that are specially trained to handle some of the symptoms that people with autism experience that are a hindrance in their daily lives.
Since there are such a variety of symptoms that present in differing severities, there is a spectrum that parents consult when they believe their child could be suffering from the disorder. Shanna Niehaus’ son, who is five years old, has had it pretty rough his whole life because of his autistic symptoms.
With his lack of social skills, he has never had a true friend and has lived an isolated life. That all changed when the two were finally able to secure a service dog for the little boy. Shanna and her son made their way “across the entire ocean, stopped in multiple states, and uprooted his entire routine to travel the globe” and meet his new service dog, Tornado.
The encounter was astonishing and emotional, to say the least. A photo was snapped by the dog’s provider, 4 Paws For Ability, and Shanna added this moving caption to accompany the photo:
“See this moment? I’ve never experienced a moment like this….
“This picture was taken near the end of the day after my autistic five year old was finally able to sit down with his new Service Dog Tornado…. This boy is the strongest child I have ever met; he has faced countless rude and ignorant adults and children who do not understand him, who have hurt him, and who have not valued him because he is different. This picture captures the face of a mother who saw her child, who she can’t hug, wash, dress, snuggle and touch freely lay on his new Service dog of his own free will, with a purposeful unspoken attachment. This is the face of a mom who has seen her son experience countless failed social interactions on the playground in an attempt to have a friend. Any friend. Any kind of connection. She has sat with her son while he has cried at night for months because he has no consistent connections outside of the family no matter how hard he tries and no matter what he works hard on in his Autism therapies. It doesn’t transfer to the natural occurring world for him. And now she is sitting behind her son silently watching this moment, with the air sucked from her lungs, and no words to say.
“Holding her mouth and silently crying because she doesn’t want to distract him from the moment and break him away from a pure, honest, and truly fulfilling moment for her son-of his own free will. This is truly magic. Words cannot explain it.
“I have cried so many times for this boy, but this is the very first time I have cried for a reason like this.”
It’s heartbreaking to hear of her son’s challenges, but it’s heartwarming to know that he is now on his way to coping with his symptoms better with his new friend Tornado by his side.
